🥰 Indy 🥰

Every session we have with Indy is a pleasure and she is proving to be quite the animal whisperer 🙌

We have been teaching her about horses and giving her the freedom to explore how she FEELS and how the horse FEELS when interacting with them and using that to guide her interactions with them in a safe way 😎

All of our animals love her and she has built relationships with several of them so far...Shaq 🐴 Ronnie 🐴 Charlie 🦄 Lenny 🐶 Max 🐶 & Ruby 🐱

Indy loves interacting with our guinea pigs 🐹 chicks 🐥 rabbits 🐰 and lizards 🦎 too!

Today we thought she was ready to venture out into the community and lead Miss Rockstar Charlie 🦄 at the beach 🏝

It was a bit breezy but it was really nice to get amongst the salt water & sand.
Lenny 🐶 & Max 🐶 had to come too...of course!!

These moments open up effortless communication and expression which is celebrated and encouraged 🤗

Micaela and Skye Fuss had an amazing day out in the sun today, they decided they were going to give Ronnie and Charlie a well deserved grooming session.

Micaela does a wonderful job with the horses she has a deep understanding of their behaviour and how to treat them to make them feel safe and loved.

They all look forward to when she comes out every week.🩷

Steven and I celabrated the Chinese New Year and the Year of the Fire Horse!

Lets just say, we had a ball 😁

Steven loves China and the chinese culture and I was priveliged to take him to an event that emersed him in all things China, culture, food and of course horses! 🥟🍜🍣🔥🐴🥁🎸🎵🥳

We do lots of activities here that are focused on working as a team, following a plan, communication, following instructions, problem solving and life skills.

I needed another coop for my Silkie bantoms I hatched in the incubator recently and took the opportunity to teach one of our clients how to put together a flat pack.

Us girls got it done and had lots of laughs doing it 💪😆

Today Maz helped cool down my hot blooded red man Nigie 💙

With this hot weather and his itchy, sweaty coat he does appreciate it 🥰🙌

We focused on following instructions like sq**rt from the shoulder and legs, avoiding his head.

He tolerated Maz and reminders about his head which he tolerated under my supervision.. when she was done I gave him a nice relaxing face and head wash that he loved..

My moto...listen to the horse and ensure client safety with a splash of growth in both 💧😎😍

🥚Egg Candling - Day 18 incubation🥚

"Danny & Sandy" my silkie bantams have given me some fertile eggs 😍

Over the last couple of weeks, I've been having my first go at hatching my own silkie bantam chicks!

Today I showed a client how to candle the eggs before they go into lockdown for hatching over the next 3 days🐣

We were looking to see the chick move, veins and a good size air pocket🧐

All is looking good for a 100% hatch rate for these little loves😃

We adjusted the humidity on the incubator and began lockdown, so no more peeking inside the shell or opening the incubator🫣

"Sandy" went clucky, so I've let her keep 3 eggs to hatch on her own. I'm just a bit excited to watch her as a first-time mum!
She should start hatching them out this week.

Kasey Lewis loves the feel of Ronnies coat! Its like a "silk pillow case" warm, soft and smooth..her words ☺️

🐴 Ronnie is a beautiful Standard Bred Gelding and was my first standy 💙

🐴 Ronnie has taught me so much about the breed since owning him, roughly 🤔 15yrs

🐴 His name was "Criminal Minds" when he raced...and we love that his previous owners and trainers keep up to date with his journey from being a top racer - to a riding horse and now - to a gentleman that I trust with my clients whether they are NDIS or our youth in the community ☺️

We spent time with Billy the sheep 🐑
Cuddles with the baby chicks 🐥🐥🐥
And cuddles with "Sandy" the silkie 😍

Its always a pleasure spending tim with Kasey! Shes always soo happy to come here with us too which makes it all worth the hard work we do here behind the scenes ☺️
