Every year, our team get together for our business planning day. Itโ€™s a great chance to reflect on the events, people and activities that shaped Good Country Physiotherapy in the last 12 months.

This year, Jess Keenan from Leading Change Experiences at Xmas Rocks Venue & Events hosted and facilitated our day. We had a particular focus on communication with intention and learnt a thing or two about ourselves as well as how we can work better together as a team and for our community.

Thank you to Jess for a great day. Special thanks to The Bake Shop for delicious catering. A fabulous day out!

๐Ÿ“ข New Blog Post โ€“ Positional Vertigo ๐Ÿ“ข
Ever felt the room spin when you roll over in bed or look up? It might be more than just dizziness.

Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) โ€” often called โ€œcrystals in the earโ€ โ€” is a common cause of vertigo that can come on suddenly and feel intense, but the good news is: itโ€™s very treatable.

๐Ÿ‘‚ Itโ€™s triggered by simple movements
โฑ๏ธ Episodes are short but can be severe
๐ŸŒ€ Caused by tiny crystals moving where they shouldnโ€™t in the inner ear

Physiotherapists trained in vestibular rehab can assess and treat BPPV using gentle repositioning techniques โ€” often with quick relief.

If you or someone you know has been dealing with unexplained dizziness or vertigo, donโ€™t ignore it.
