Staying active is one of the most important ways to manage COPD. Regular movement like walking, gentle strength exercises, and functional activities can help reduce breathlessness over time and improve daily independence.

Exercise helps the body use oxygen more efficiently, making everyday tasks feel easier and less tiring.

COPD is a long-term lung condition, but physiotherapy can help improve breathing, exercise tolerance, and overall quality of life. It includes breathing techniques, airway clearance, exercise programs, and education to support day-to-day management.

Early assessment is important as it can slow decline, improve symptoms, and help maintain independence for longer.
