Happy New Year to all our wonderful clients! π
We have enjoyed our much needed family time over the extended Christmas break and are feeling refreshed and excited to get back to servicing our community next week! π»
It is with heavy hearts that we have said farewell to our much-loved practice manager, Anita. π Anita had been an integral part of this practice for the past 13 years and we are sad to see her go. We wish Anita nothing but the best for her future, wherever it shall take her. π
With the New Year comes new beginnings! π We will have 2 new friendly faces for you to meet this year as we welcome our new receptionists Nerissa and Steph. π You may also see a past familiar face around the clinic with Kirsty taking time out of her holidays from Naracoorte High to help us through the transition of getting the new staff up to speed. π
As we prepare to re-open we want to reassure you that we will be doing everything we can to keep you and our community safe now that COVID-19 cases are rising within the state. As the situation is rapidly evolving, we are constantly monitoring directions from SA Health and will act accordingly if changes need to be made. As always, if we are required to cancel your appointment, we will be in contact with you in due course.
In addition to our existing COVID safe measures all our staff will be required to return a negative Rapid Antigen Test before attending the practice and we will also be wearing P2/N95 anti-viral masks π· so you can be reassured that you are in safe hands and that we are taking every measure that we can to minimise the risk of transmission as much as practicable. πͺ
If you are feeling unwell for any reason, are awaiting the results of a PCR test, have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 or have been instructed to self-isolate by SA Health, please call us to reschedule your appointment. π Likewise, our staff will be required to stay home under these circumstances.
It is essential that we limit both the number of people within the practice at any given time and the time each person spends within the practice. To assist us in our efforts we ask that you please arrive no more than 5 minutes prior to your appointment. If you are early and there is already 2 people in the waiting room you may be asked to wait outside and reception staff will call you in when required. To avoid waiting times we may call you prior to your appointment to let you know if we are running behind schedule.
As usual, when you arrive, please check in with the QR code at the entrance, sanitise your hands π and observe social distancing markers on the floors.
Masks π· are mandatory within the clinic at all times for anyone over the age of 12. We encourage you to bring your own mask with you but we will always have disposable surgical masks available upon entry should you forget.
TIA for supporting us with these measures. Stay safe everyone and see you next week! π
