Insight Therapy offers counselling/psychotherapy, we use a person-centred approach, which is used alongside a pluralistic approach to counselling, this just means there may be other counselling theories utilised to give a holistic approach to your unique circumstances and or difficulties you are experiencing. Pluralistic counselling is utilised within a session to guide you the client to the best
possible outcomes through, empathy, empowerment, support, emotional and wellbeing support, resilience building, strength-based, positive psychology, narrative based therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, person-centred therapy, trauma focused therapy, and solution focused therapy. Clients are supported through their story/journey, to find alternative outlooks and positive solutions, enabling them to create their chosen future and path to overall wellbeing. My skills include working with people who have experienced severe hardship, homelessness, PTSD, ADHD, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, adolescents and young children, drug and alcohol difficulties, anger management, bereavement and specialising in pet bereavement. I help to separate the problem from the individual, so we can view the problem as the problem, to distance ourselves as a separate identity. My clients are always heard and validated, never judged, respected for their life choices whatever they may be. I am able to help individuals with mental health illnesses, managing stress, anxiety and depression and finding strategies to cope better. Finding the best way to live with difficult situations and circumstances that hinder recovery or being able to live life to its full potential. I am an honest, reliable, warm and an empathic person who aims to inspire people to want a happy life. I offer appointments face-to-face at my home office, online or tele health.
