It's key for me that I can have anything I want when I want it while also knowing what specific goals require at specific times.

There are times of year I don't drink. There are times of year I do.

There are times of year I include far bigger and more frequent cheat days. And times of year I don't really do any.

But the key is finding the balance right for us and knowing that whether we include certain things or not at specific times is our CHOICE.

We have to know our triggers. We have to know what helps us move forward while being sustainable. So remember there can be a balance and that balance will change based on what you're driving toward at the time.

And if you want to work in a donut, maybe you do. Or maybe you enjoy a protein donut at the time instead.

But there can be a balance that fits our needs, goals and lifestyle.

"Did you even really eat that donut?"

Is a question ive been asked many times after showing people this photo

I'm 100% authentic in what I post.
I eat my personal balance and that includes, yes, at times donuts, cupcakes, chips, cookies and cocktails.

It’s always interesting because it shows me where our dieting culture is at.

We don't believe that people are eating what they claim and we also don't believe we are "allowed" certain things if we want results.

But results come from balance and "balance" is unique to each of us and our lifestyles.

For me balance means making room for things that are in no way nutritious.

I want to travel and try desserts and restaurants and cocktails.

And I want to, at times, eat and drink probably more than I should.

That's my balance.

And I think that is the biggest mindset shift that pays off with macros.

We are choosing what we do.

Restriction isn't forced on us.

As weird as it sounds, there is a completely different mindset that comes with saying...

"I can't have lollies/chips/donuts."

Versus saying...

"I don't have lollies/chips/donuts."

And it comes down to the fact that in one you are recognizing you have the CHOICE.

You are making a conscious decision at this time based on your needs and goals and balance.

So remember there can be a balance and that balance will change based on what you're driving toward at the time.

And if you want to work in a donut, maybe you do. Or maybe you enjoy a healthier donut at the time instead.

But there can always be a balance that fits our needs, goals and lifestyle.

NORMAL EATING * PERFECT EATING
A little too much here, a little too little there... guess what? That's human. That's normal. That's okay
Whether you're chasing world-class performance or just want to feel better in your skin-mistakes happen. You're not broken. You're not failing.
The real damage? Comes from guilt. Shame.
Overthinking.
The fix? Shrug it off, smile, and say:" That was fun.
Let's get back on track.
"That's the move

We stock VPA Whey Protein Concentrate(WPC), creatine and pre workout, we don’t have every flavour but we do stock our favourites and the popular ones If we get enough demand for a certain flavour would be happy to consider stocking it or can personally let you know when we put our next order in and get the flavours you would like that we don’t stock.

DM for info, prices and flavours.

You’re juggling school runs, work stress, laundry piles — So another day slips by. Another week. Clothes get tighter, energy dips lower. It feels like life is running you, not the other way around. But here’s the truth: you don’t need perfect conditions. You need a starting point — even if it’s 10 minutes in the lounge room while your kids play.

One of the things that bothers me most is when people say they’re “going on a diet” and need to eat healthier.

Let’s get something straight, eating things like:

Minimally processed foods
More protein
More fiber
Fruits and veggies

Should never be considered “dieting.”

In fact, I hate the term “going on a diet,” because it implies that it only lasts a finite amount of time and at some point you’re going to go “off of the diet.”

Well, guess what happens when you get off of the diet?

You just lose all of the progres that you made on the diet.

If you’re someone who constantly finds yourself jumping on and off diets, over your time with us Laura and I will make you rethink the way you view nutrition.

The goal is not to “go on a diet.”

Instead, the goal should be to improve the quality of your nutrition in a way that:

Supports your goals, and You can sustain for the rest of your life

If you don’t do these things, you’re always going to be yo-yoing on and off different diets indefinitely without much results to show for it.

This is why we take a habit-focused approach to nutrition with our memebrs instead of telling them exactly what to and what not to eat.

Because that doesn’t work long term.

Instead, we focus on helping all of you develop key nutrition related habits that are going to support a lean, fit, and healthy body.

And learn to do this for the rest of your life.

My Story

Hi there, I’m now thinking this would be a good time to introduce myself and to tell you a little bit about my journey to where I am today, now wanting to help people like you to become a better version of yourself.

So I was always the fat kid, not obese, but chubby. My mother told me a story only as I was much older that she always wanted us to have plenty of really nice food available to us as she never had food as a priority in her life growing up…. I took full advantage of that 😊

In my primary school years, growing up in the 80’sand 90’s we were always outside and being active. I was good at sport and gave everything a go so I was never given grief for being chubby. Although we had the Sega Megadrives and the Playstations, the worst punishment for me was being grounded and not allowed outside to play with the neighbourhood kids. Depending on the season, rugby and soccer in winter, or cricket in summer, I would cry at the window watching all the other kids playing in the street.

So I was active but I always ate big portions at meal times as I loved food. I remember always having milo, nesquick, assorted cream biscuits and bread in the cupboard – which were all abused at times in large quantities. In that era it was all about fat being bad so in our house we had low-fat everything… yoghurt, cream, milk… but we now know that when the fat is taken away it has to be replaced with something else to make it taste good, which is sugar, so everyone including my younger self had s**t loads of low-fat dairy.
