Welcome Everyone,
Taylor-Made Physio is now open and taking bookings. But first here is a little more about Glenn our Lead Physiotherapist.
Glenn graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and first-class honours from the University of Queensland. Prior to his physiotherapy degree, he also completed a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science from the University of the Sunshine Coast and graduated in 2014 with first class honours. He has completed and published research in optimising knee pain interventions and has conducted research into the biomechanics of strength and power training.
Glenn has extensive knowledge in the field of Physiotherapy which he has gained through experience, education and professional development. Prior to being a Physio he worked as a personal trainer for 10 years in local gyms in Moreton Bay. Here he gathered experience in integrating an active lifestyle into the lives of people from various backgrounds. He also has a passion for learning and education, and assists in teaching anatomy courses at a number of universities.
Glenn believes in a patient-centred approach, with the primary aim to help his patients understand their pain and achieve their goals. He uses a combination of education, self-management techniques, activity modification, and exercises to empower patients to manage their pain, and improve their function. He also uses a variety of manual therapy techniques in conjunction with these to enhance his patient outcomes.
Outside of work, Glenn enjoys spending time with his wife Zoe and 2 dogs, hoisting iron, improving his amateur runner status, reading science and philosophy, celebrating Brisbane Lions victories and the occasional Netflix binge.
