✨Aurora and Canicross Warrior participants 🐾🌲
We will be camping and conducting the race from the main campground, Wingello State Forest.
Wingello Base Camp underwent renovations last year. As a result, the camping area of Wingello is no longer what it used to be.
As you drive into the main camp area, on the left hand side you have your non drive through camping which is reserved for tents and swags only! A parking area is available next to the campground.
🛑 caravans and trailers cannot access this area
On the right hand side there are two areas that you can drive into with a caravans and trailers, the committee will be setting up around the concrete slab near the drop toilet.
we highly recommend that big teams use the opposite side to this, that will allow easier access to the start chute.
Get comfy with your neighbours so we can all squish in as there are about 50 entrants, Please be considerate of others.
In the case of there not being any room left, an overflow area has been provided in the horse float area.
Like with any public campground we can't stop the public from camping, so please be aware we may not be the only ones using the campground 😢
📣Also shout out to anyone willing to handle during races, if your not already committed or have time to handle between races for one of the bigger teams or a smaller class please let us know on race day!
