The "waiting game" is often the hardest part of recovery. The Anti-Gravity Treadmill changes that. 🏃‍♂️

If you’ve heard the term but aren't sure how it works, think of it as a way to "turn down" the impact of gravity on your joints.

What is it?
It’s a specialised treadmill that uses air pressure to create a "weightless" environment for your lower body. We can reduce your effective body weight by up to 80%, allowing you to walk or run without the painful force of a full foot strike.

How it assists your rehab:

Early Mobilisation: We can initiate movement much sooner following surgery or a stress fracture. This keeps your joints mobile and prevents the muscle loss that usually happens during bed rest.

Normal Gait Patterns: When you’re in pain, you limp. This treadmill allows you to practice a perfect, natural walking stride without the "guarding" patterns that often slow down recovery.

Precise Progression: We can increase your weight in 1% increments. This allows us to find your exact "sweet spot", the point where you are loading your tissues enough to trigger healing, but not enough to cause pain.

Maintaining Fitness: It allows athletes to keep their heart rate up and maintain cardiovascular conditioning while their injury is still structurally healing.
