Meets 6pm Narooma Golf Club (2nd and 4th Thurs), Business Breakfast 7am Surf Club (3rd Thurs). Rotary is a worldwide organisation of more than 1.2 million people. The Narooma Rotary Club inc is a soundly established local community organisation of over 50 years. Our motto, Service Above Self, Rotary’s main objective is service — in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world. Rotarians put Service Above Self worldwide. The Narooma Rotary Club inc is aligned with the Foundation's main goal to eradicate polio through the Polio Plus Program. Our main focus this year is to raise funds for the Moruya Oncology clinic. Anyone can help advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty by contributing to the Narooma Rotary Club inc. Wonderful to hear at Thursday’s Narooma Rotary BB about two great festivals coming up – the Narooma Oyster Festival (1-3 May) and the Fungi Feastival (mid June-mid July). NAROOMA ROTARY RECOGNISES 6 TOP EMPLOYEES
Last night Narooma Rotary presented awards to six people nominated by their employers for their pride in their work. They were Tracey Cooper (IRT), left, Hayden Frick (Creed’s Lawn Mowing), Julie Hall (Narooma Mitre 10), Bijay Maharjan (Estia), Logan Allison (Merivale) and Brett Kelly (Narooma Auto Electrics), with President Julie Hartley, VP David McInnes and POW organiser PP Laurelle Pacey.
