Posture feeling off? Start here 👇

Posture is not just about “sitting up straight.”

It often comes down to how well your upper back and shoulders can move and support you throughout the day.

When those areas get stiff or weak, holding good posture starts to feel harder.

These exercises help improve movement and control, so staying upright feels more natural — not forced.

Try these 3–4 times per week:
• Slow and controlled
• Stay within a comfortable range
• No sharp pain

If it starts to feel easier after a couple of weeks, increase the resistance or range slightly.

If posture is affecting your comfort at work or during the day, it’s worth getting it assessed properly.

Shoulder pain? Start here 👇

Shoulder pain often builds up when the upper back and shoulder muscles are not sharing the load well.

Over time, certain areas can get overworked while others are not doing enough.

In this video, Jervis from our Brookvale clinic is taking you through a few exercises to help improve strength and control so the shoulder can handle movement better.

Try these 3–4 times per week:
• Slow and controlled
• Stay within a comfortable range
• No sharp pain

If it starts to feel easier after a couple of weeks, increase the resistance.

If shoulder pain keeps coming back or is limiting your movement, it’s worth getting it assessed properly.

When we see people in the clinic, this is often the starting point.

Pain has slowly become something they expect with work.
So they adjust around it instead of addressing it.

But what we’re really looking at is not just the pain itself…
it’s why the body is not handling the load anymore.

That might be strength.
It might be movement.
It might be how the body is coping day to day.

The goal is not just to get you out of pain.
It is to get you back to a point where your body can handle your job again — without it constantly flaring up.

That is always the focus.

If something has become your “normal,” it is worth getting it looked at properly and building it back up the right way.

Neck pain often sticks around because people focus on symptoms, not patterns.

The pain might show up in the neck, but the drivers are usually spread across the day.
How long you stay still.
How much variety your neck gets.
How well it handles daily demands.

When those patterns stay the same, pain tends to repeat.

That is why random fixes often disappoint.
They are not wrong, just incomplete.

Progress usually comes from zooming out and looking at the bigger picture of how your neck is being used.

If neck pain keeps cycling in and out of your life, it is worth stepping back and getting it looked at properly rather than just reacting each time it flares.

If you’re feeling better but unsure about going back to full duties, it’s worth building up properly first.

Start with:
• Shorter days or lighter tasks
• Gradually increasing load week by week
• Testing how your body responds after work, not just during

That way, you’re not just feeling better —
you’re actually ready for the demands again.

If you’re not sure how to scale things without flaring it up again, book a consult and get a plan built around your work.

Build your back safely 👇

These are low-impact strength exercises that help support your back without putting too much strain on it.

In this video, Emma from our Brookvale clinic is taking you through a few simple ways to build strength around the hips and core — helping take pressure off the lower back over time.

Try these 3–4 times per week:
• Slow and controlled
• Stay within a comfortable range
• No sharp pain

If it starts to feel easier after a couple of weeks,
increase the difficulty or resistance.

Progress gradually. Consistency matters most.

If back pain keeps coming back or is limiting your day, it’s worth getting it assessed properly.

Soreness becomes a problem when it starts to change how you move.

You might not notice it straight away,
but over time you shift load, avoid certain positions, or rely more on one side.

That is how small issues turn into bigger ones.

Not from one session…
but from repeated compensation.

If something keeps showing up in the same way, it is worth fixing the pattern early.

Stopping rehab early often leaves the body less tolerant to stress than before the injury.

So when normal life or sport resumes, the same loads feel heavier than they should.

That is why the same spot gets irritated again.

Not because it is damaged…
but because it is underprepared.

If something keeps coming back to the same area, it is worth building it past your old baseline — not just back to it.
