A big thank you to Jason McCrea from the Commonwealth Bank who gave us an amazing presentation on Scams at our June NBG meeting on Monday night. It is a bit scary to think about the various ways that we can be scammed but being forewarned allows us to be forearmed and know what to do if this ever happens to us.

Our June monthly meeting has been postponed for a week to Monday 16 June at 6.00pm at the Narrandera Ex-Servicemen's Club Ltd due to this weekend’s long weekend.

We are looking forward to collating the suggestions on how we can improve our engagement with our current and new members in our meetings and activities.

We will have a presentation from the Commonwealth Bank on scams and Edwina from Narrandera Shire council will present the May Economic Activity report.

Our Narrandera Spring Fair committee will update us on how the planning for this year’s Fair is progressing. Our next meeting of this committee is on Monday 23 June at 6.00pm. Community members are most welcome to join this committee. We hope to build on the success of last year’s Fair to make it bigger and better!

We have postponed our June meeting by one week to Monday 16 June. The meeting will be held at the Narrandera Ex-Servicemen's Club Ltd at 6pm.

We are investigation ways to engage more with current and potentially new members at our meetings and in our activities and would love you feedback around this.

Jason from Commonwealth Bank Narrandera Branch are going to give us a presentation around Scams and Narrandera Shire Council reps will present the May Economic Activity report. We also will have an update around our Spring Fair Planning. The Narrandera Spring Fair will be held on Saturday 1 November from 5.00 to 10.00 pm. An event not to be missed.

As advised previously the Narrandera - Business as Usual Facebook group will be deleted on Sunday 1 June 2025. We unfortunately do not have the capacity to monitor multiple Facebook groups.
