🔵 Update Mon 7 July: the allocation of washing machines has been reached and there are no more machines available for this round. Applications that have already been submitted will continue to be reviewed, however, due to high interest, this may take up to 10 business days 🔵

For just $250, eligible NSW households can now get a new state-of-the-art front loader washing machine with a 2-year warranty delivered and installed, plus your old top loader machine removed and recycled 💧

The Washing Machine Exchange Program helps ease cost-of-living pressures for pensioners, veterans and low-income households and saves water by upgrading inefficient top loader washers to energy and water efficient front loaders.

Today is National Sorry Day. We acknowledge, with deep respect, the Stolen Generations Survivors – those who were forcibly removed from their families, communities, culture and Country as children. We also acknowledge the families, descendants and communities who have carried the enduring weight of this trauma across generations.

At NSW Health, today is an opportunity to reflect, learn and consider ways to change the future for Aboriginal people, both in the work that we do and in our day to day lives.

I’m excited that next term I will be running T2S- transition to School playgroup again! This is a great opportunity for kids that are planning to transition to kindergarten later in the year to ANY of our great local schools. Parents are welcome to bring younger siblings to play during the sessions. This is a free group and would definitely benefit any children, especially those that do not attend any formal childcare options before the individual school transitions begin.
