That's a wrap for our first year of providing monthly Sound Relaxation sessions for the Residents, their Families, Staff & Volunteers at Heywood Rural Health!
It's been really well received & so very rewarding.
Witnessing the calm wash over participants as well as the connections made with each session has made my heart smile.
Odie now strutts in there to say hello to his friends like he owns the joint.

I'd like to extend a big thank you to for your funding to make this program possible.

Today I had the pleasure of co-creating some musical magic, with work experience student Lucy on Piano, for our monthly Sound Relaxation group at HeywoodRuralHealth.

Lucy is studying Music through South West TAFE with an interest in persuing Music Therapy.

The residents enjoyed Lucy's musical talent, a perfect addition to the session.

These groups are made possible thanks to the generous funding gratefully received through 's Lewis Court Fund.

Today Odie & I had the pleasure of providing a Sound Relaxation session to residents & their family at Heywood Rural Health.

Witnessing the soothing and relaxing effects the therapeutic sounds have on participants is so very rewarding.

Needless to say, Odie was welcomed with lots of pats & love 😊

I am honoured to be a part of this wellbeing event 🙏🏼

We are thrilled to announce that our last free regional wellbeing day for 2024 will be held in Portland.

Join us at the Portland Bowls Club on 8 November for a day filled with support, connection, and self-care. This event is open to women at any stage of their cancer diagnosis (whether recent or many years ago), along with an accompanying friend, carer or family member.

The program features an information session about nutrition in cancer treatment, Tai Chi, sound meditation workshop, morning tea, lunch and the opportunity to connect with other women who understand the challenges of living with cancer.

We are so grateful to be partnering with Barwon South Western Regional Integrated Cancer Service (BSWRICS) and Portland District Health for this special day.
