Myth: “Ice baths kill your gains.”
Fact: They don’t… unless you overdo them.

At Axis, our ice baths sit around 8–9 °C, and most people alternate between the spa and ice for short bouts. Usually 2–3 minutes at a time, a few rounds total.
That’s enough to boost circulation, reduce soreness, and help recovery without blunting muscle adaptation.

The key is balance. If you spend too long in the cold straight after every lift, you might slow down some of the body’s natural repair process. But used smart, it’s one of the best recovery tools out there.

Short, cold, consistent — that’s how you do it right.
