Bakotic OT - Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Dana is an paediatric occupational therapist with a highly interactive, hands-on and fun approach to therapy. As an occupational therapist with Bakotic OT, Dana is a ‘daily life specialist’ available to work with clients aged 2-9 to improve their daily living functions—whether it be at telehealth, home or within the community, as well as school and kinder. Dana has significant experience working w

ith children aged between 3 and 6 years. Her work to date has emphasised school readiness and inclusion, assessing and supporting clients’ strengths and identifying barriers. She’s familiar with the Steiner educational system as well as Victoria’s state system. Development of fine motor skills, gross motor skills, cognitive skills, social skills and coping skills are some of her areas of experience. Dana can provide the following assessments and reports: Sensory Profile Assessment, School Readiness Assessment, Motor and Visual Motor Assessment, and Functional Capacity Assessment. Dana may make recommendations in the home, school and community environments to improve child's independence and safety. Dana is a Monash University graduate.
