As we approach Remembrance Day on November 11, we take this time to reflect on and honour the courage, service, and sacrifices of the men, women and service animals who have served—and continue to serve—our country in times of war, conflict, and peace.

At One Doorway, we encourage everyone to pause for a moment of silence at 11:00 a.m. to remember those who gave their lives for our freedom.

If you are attending a Remembrance Day ceremony or observance, we hope it provides an opportunity for reflection and gratitude.
For those working or providing essential services during that time, please take a moment in your own way to honour the day’s significance.

This week, we join the global conversation to raise awareness and understanding of invisible illnesses and disabilities — the conditions you can’t always see, but which can deeply impact daily life.

From chronic pain and fatigue to mental health, neurodiversity and autoimmune conditions — invisible disabilities are all around us. Just because someone looks “okay” doesn’t mean they aren’t facing real challenges.

At One Doorway, we’re committed to supporting people living with invisible disabilities — through compassion, inclusion, and understanding in everything we do.
