Step As One Disability Services has two accommodation vacancies;
1) apartment in Armadale Victoria suitable for MTA or 1:1 SIL. The apartment has stair access so is not suitable for high physical support needs. This property is located close to public transport and shops.
2) SIL vacancy in a 4 bedroom house in Frankston Victoria. The property has one adult male living there already.

Disability Support worker/youth worker position available!
Location:Mornington Peninsula Victoria

Shifts available: Thursday 5pm-11pm and sleepover, Friday 3pm-11pm and sleepover, other shifts available on occasion.

The position is to support a man in his early 20s who has level 3 Autism Spectrum Disorder, may display behaviours including slapping and is a non verbal communicator.

Strong English language skills are required. Reliability, strong work ethic are a must! This position is paid at casual SCHADS 2.2 rate.

The ideal candidates will have a strong background in youth/disability, strong clear english language skills and a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of young people.

Requirements to apply
- Minimum of 1 year experience in the disability sector, specifically with youth.
- Strong command of the English language, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with NDIS participants & families.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care.
- Relevant qualifications in disability, youth or a related discipline.
