The theme underscores the essential role that massage therapists, remedial massage therapists, and myotherapists play in a balanced, multidisciplinary approach to healthcare. The Federal Department of Health and Ageing's classification of remedial massage therapists and myotherapists as Allied Health services under the Home Care Package Program further affirms their critical place within Allied Health and multidisciplinary healthcare.

For Allied Health to fully embrace a true multidisciplinary approach, it is crucial to acknowledge the unique skillsets and hands-on expertise that massage therapists, remedial massage therapists and myotherapists bring to treatment plan.
