At our clinic, we see firsthand how resistance training can transform health and well-being. Beyond building strength, the benefits include:

✔️ Improved blood glucose control
✔️ Increased muscle mass & metabolism
✔️ Stronger bones & reduced risk of osteoporosis
✔️ Enhanced balance, posture & injury prevention
✔️ Better overall quality of life

Resistance training isn’t just for athletes - it’s for everyone. Whether using bodyweight, bands, or weights, consistent training supports healthier, stronger living. 💪✨

🦴💙 Today is World Osteoporosis Day – a global call to action for better bone health.

At Taylor’d Exercise Physiology, we know that strong bones are built through movement and lifestyle choices. Exercise plays a key role in:

✅ Building bone density
✅ Improving strength and balance
✅ Reducing the risk of falls and fractures
✅ Supporting long-term independence and wellbeing

Some examples of exercises that you can do at home to help with preventing/treating osteoporosis include:

✔️ Bench push up
✔️ Curl to press
✔️ Step ups
✔️ Kettlebell deadlift
✔️ Banded row
✔️ Standing marches

It’s never too early - or too late - to take steps for healthier bones. Start small, stay consistent, and your future self will thank you. 🙌

World Mental Health Day | October 10 💚

At Taylor’d Exercise Physiology, we see every day how movement can change more than just the body - it transforms the mind.

Regular exercise has been shown to reduce stress, improve mood, and build resilience, making it a powerful tool for supporting mental wellbeing.

Today’s a reminder to prioritise your mental health, move in a way that feels good, and check in with those around you. 💬💪

You’re never alone - and every step toward better health counts.

Over the month we stepped, paced, walked, and even danced our way to support people living with Cerebral Palsy 💚 Together, we’ve raised awareness and kept moving for an incredible cause.

And for the record… Lachlan finished the month just 31 steps behind Josh. Talk about a photo finish! 📉😂

Thanks to everyone who donated, supported, cheered us on, and joined the journey - every single step counted.

👟 Steptember has begun!
This month, our team at Taylor’d EP is stepping up to support people living with cerebral palsy. Every 20 hours an Aussie child is diagnosed, and the funds raised through Steptember go towards life changing research, therapy, and support. 💚

We’ll be moving our way through 10,000 steps a day whether it’s walking, running, dancing or just staying active and raising awareness along the way.

✨ Follow our journey, cheer us on, and if you’re able, support the cause via the link in bio. Together, every step counts.

Another fundraiser is underway, and this one’s close to our hearts!

We’re supporting our amazing community member Shelley as she takes on a powerful challenge this May — raising funds and awareness for brain cancer through the Peace of Mind Foundation.

Just two years ago, Shelley was recovering from brain surgery. Now, she’s turning her journey into a mission to help others — and we’re with her every step (or swim or run) of the way.

How to get involved:
• Set a kilometre goal for the month
• Walk, run, or swim at your own pace
• Track your progress
• Raise funds or simply donate

Let’s rally behind Shelley and show the strength of our Taylor’d EP community!
