Our flu shots have arrived and we are so excited about what we have available this year! 💉

We are offering two types of flu vaccinations to suit everyone:

💙 Standard Flu Vaccine: available for all ages
💙 Over 65 Flu Vaccine: a higher strength formula specifically for our older community members

Both vaccinations are available under the NIP (National Immunisation Program), meaning they are FREE for those with certain medical conditions such as asthma or diabetes, as well as for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Private funded vaccinations are also available.

🌟 NEW THIS YEAR — FluMist!

FluMist is a nasal spray flu vaccine no needle! We know how daunting needles can be for little ones, and this is a game changer.

✔️ Approved for children aged 2 to under 18
✔️ FREE for children aged 2, 3 and 4
✔️ Available for ages 5–17 at $60 (privately funded)
✔️ No script required for any of our flu vaccinations

To help you get the care you need (and to keep appointments moving for everyone), here are a few helpful reminders:

✅ Please attend your booked appointment, or cancel as early as you can if you can’t make it

📅 If you know you’ll need a review/referral/script, booking ahead gives you the best chance

📞 Need something urgent? Call the Medical Centre at 8:45am to secure the day’s availability. There is two new doctor’s that have just started so the pressure will ease shortly!

🏥 Please keep the hospital for emergencies

Can’t get into your GP?

📱 We have telehealth options available:

• Nurse Practitioner appointments (bulk billed via telehealth, when available)

• Doctor via telehealth ($35 per appointment) often same-day.
