Women in Rescue Forum 2026
What started as a vision to create space for connection, support, and growth for women in emergency response has grown into something truly special.
In 2025, Parabellum International was proud to partner with Mineral Resources to deliver the inaugural Women in Rescue Forum (EM CoP). What began as a small but powerful initiative brought together women from across the emergency response and resources sectors to share experiences and support one another.
Fast forward to 2026 and the forum has continued to grow, with even greater participation, collaboration and engagement from women and allies across the industry. The conversations were honest, inspiring and a strong reminder of the leadership and capability women bring to emergency response teams across Australia.
This year also saw collaboration with ERGT Australia - RTO 2534, Fire and Safety Australia and St John Ambulance, reinforcing that when organisations work together and share knowledge the entire industry benefits.
A special acknowledgement goes to our trainer Peggy Lee Stephens, who has been involved since the very beginning. As lead trainer of the forum, Peggy has dedicated countless hours behind the scenes helping bring this initiative to life and supporting the development of women across the sector.
We would also like to recognise our RTO Manager Charlie Coupland, whose support and coordination played an important role in making the forum possible. Charlie worked tirelessly behind the scenes to help ensure the Naval Base event ran smoothly and successfully.
We are incredibly proud of the team and grateful for the passion and expertise they bring to initiatives like this.
As founding partners of the Women in Rescue Forum, we are proud to support a platform that celebrates women in emergency response while helping create pathways for the next generation of leaders.
A huge thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make the 2026 forum such a success. We are excited to see this community continue to grow.
