Dr Julia Schaffer is now part of our Menopause Hub!

Already a valued part of the Hollywood GP team, Dr Julia brings her warm, patient-centered approach to our dedicated Menopause Hub.

She has a strong interest in women’s health across all life stages -
from adolescence through to post-menopause - and holds a Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health.

Dr Julia is passionate about helping women feel supported, informed and empowered as they navigate hormonal changes, and offers individualised care tailored to each patient’s needs.

Julia also provides care in chronic disease management, paediatrics, weight management, and performs iron infusions and hormonal implant procedures.

Today we say goodbye to our wonderful receptionist Piper, who is finishing up at Hollywood GP!

Welcome Dr Julia Schaffer! 💛

We’re thrilled to welcome Dr Julia Schaffer to our team!

Dr Schaffer is a Fremantle-trained GP who enjoys all aspects of general practice, with special interests in women’s health (from adolescence to post-menopause), chronic disease management, paediatrics and weight management.

She also offers iron infusions and hormonal implant insertions/removals—and is known for her compassionate, patient-centred approach.

When she’s not in clinic, Julia is a busy mum of three and loves Pilates and living a healthy lifestyle.

Dr Schaffer starts consulting on Fridays from the 18th of July - with appointments now available!

Meet Dr Breeanna Swetman 👋

Dr Bree is a WA-trained GP with a special interest in women’s health, fertility, and pregnancy care—and a passion for helping women feel comfortable, informed, and empowered at every life stage.

She takes a collaborative and individualised approach to care, and is now consulting as part of our dedicated Menopause Hub at Hollywood GP.

Dr Bree is a member of the Australasian Menopause Society and the Fertility Society of Australia & New Zealand. She also works in public hospital antenatal care and holds a Diploma in Child Health.

With experience across general practice, hospital medicine, and fertility care, Dr Bree brings a warm, whole-person approach to supporting women through the menopausal transition and beyond.

Meet Dr Tegan Martyn 👋

Dr Tegan is a passionate and experienced GP with a holistic approach to midlife and menopause care—supporting her patients’ physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.

She believes in the positive impact of compassionate, evidence-based care during perimenopause and menopause, and works closely with each woman to help them feel empowered, informed, and supported.

Dr Tegan is a member of both the Australian and International Menopause Societies, and has completed advanced training in reproductive and sexual health, including IUD and Implanon insertion. She previously worked at King Edward Memorial Hospital, and brings deep expertise in women’s health to her work.

She’s now consulting as part of our dedicated Menopause Hub at Hollywood GP.

Meet Dr Susan Martin 👋
Dr Sue is a highly experienced GP with over 30 years in women’s health—and a deep understanding of the challenges that can arise during the menopause transition and beyond.

She believes in a collaborative approach, working alongside her patients to create thoughtful, personalised care plans that support both physical and psychological wellbeing.

Dr Sue has a particular interest in mental health during menopause, recognising how this stage of life can be shaped by work, family, and emotional demands. She’s a member of the Australasian Menopause Society and the Australian Society for Psychological Medicine, and holds a Graduate Diploma in Primary Care Psychiatry from UWA.

She’s now consulting as part of our dedicated Menopause Hub at Hollywood GP.
