We are pleased to welcome Dr Ganasan to the Health in Mind team.

Dr Ganasan is a Consultant Psychiatrist with a special interest in addiction psychiatry, dual diagnosis, and complex adult psychiatric presentations.

He supports adults through psychiatric assessment and treatment for a range of concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety, trauma-related conditions, ADHD, and substance use disorders.

Health in Mind is now offering a coordinated Autism Assessment Pathway for children.

Assessments are led by an experienced Clinical Child Psychologist and delivered in collaboration with a Paediatrician and allied health clinicians. The pathway is designed to support a thorough assessment process and provide clear assessment outcomes and diagnostic clarity, with practical recommendations for home, school and everyday life.

Families can also access ongoing support through our psychology and occupational therapy team within the one coordinated service, allowing for care to remain connected

Referrals can be made by GPs, or families can learn more by contacting our reception team for further information.

As the festive season approaches, the Health in Mind team wishes you a warm and restorative summer break.

We understand that the festive season can be uplifting for some, while bringing extra pressure or emotions for others. As things get busy, we want to gently remind you to look after yourself and give your mind the care it deserves.

📅 To let you know, our clinic will be taking a short break from 23 December 2025 and will reopen on 6 January 2026.

Over this time, be gentle with yourself, check in on your wellbeing, and remember that you are never alone on this journey.
