From humble beginnings in 1942, Hollywood Private Hospital has grown to become the largest hospital in Western Australia and the largest private hospital in Australia with more than 900 beds. The hospital employs over 2000 people and has more than 800 accredited specialists working across a wide range of disciplines including cardiology, gastroenterology, general medicine, general surgery, oncology, orthopedics, palliative care, psychiatry, rehabilitation and urology.

Hollywood Private Hospital was purchased 25 years ago by Ramsay Health Care – Australia’s largest private hospital operator. Since becoming part of Ramsay Health Care, we’ve doubled our bed numbers going from 300 beds to more than 700 making us the biggest private hospital in WA. We have 650 specialists and are exceptionally well regarded in a broad range of medical specialties, including urology, cardiology, psychiatry, oncology, neurosurgery and orthopaedics.
