Nelson Plaza Clinic has also welcomed Dr Jordan Amos.

Dr Jordan graduated from the University of Newcastle Joint Medical Program and, prior to commencing at Nelson Plaza, completed her junior doctor years at Tamworth Hospital, followed by a year of Intensive Care and Anaesthetics at Wagga Wagga Hospital. She is working towards becoming a Rural Generalist, with a strong dedication to rural health and plans to continue practising within the Hunter Region.

Outside of medicine, Jordan enjoys pottery, gardening and cooking

Dr Amy Walker is an experienced and motivated health professional who enjoys collaborating with patients to optimise health and wellbeing. She brings broad experience across primary healthcare, healthcare systems, the physical fitness industry, First Nations health, hospital medicine and academia, and is a valued member of our team.

Dr Amy’s hobbies include spending time with family and friends, reading and hiking in nature.

Vik is raising funds for Camp Quality, a wonderful organisation that provides free programs for children aged 0–15 living with cancer — from recreation and education to counselling and emotional support.

Seaton graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2023. Since then, he has gained experience in private practice, mental health, and hospital settings in a rural town in Northern NSW. Seaton has recently returned to Newcastle and started Achieve Dietitian, where he now focuses solely on private practice.

Seaton’s special interests include:

A lot of patients probably know our fabulous nurse Vik.
Vik is participating in Motocyc 2025. Motocyc is a 3-day Motorbike ride from Newcastle-Mudgee- Lithgow & back to raise money for Camp Quality. She is setting off on her trusty Virago 250cc with around 100 other riders from Heatherbrae in Newcastle, then through historic regional towns to explore the beauty of the Central West and Central Tablelands regions of NSW on the 21st-23rd of March 2025 all to support kids with cancer.
