This is why your body can react positively and negatively to change. That change can occur through injury, poor posture or the treatment you use to address these issues.

It isn't uncommon for the body to feel tender following a massage or Bowen treatment. That's because we are asking the body to shift and create change. That change can be uncomfortable at times. We must trust the process and give the body a chance to absorb that shift and find a new balance.

Healing often requires gradual progress to ensure it sticks. Releasing muscles, observe the response, incorporate exercise or stretching and observe the response. The aim is always to gain improvement from every session. That may be a reduction in pain, increased range of movement or just sleeping through the night.

No matter what your goal, the first step means booking an appointment.

It has been a while since I posted!

This year is charging forward at great pace... no surprise there. Thankfully life has been just as busy as the shop.

A few birthdays and family visits were high on the priority list, and they didn't disappoint!

Hopefully I can get back into the swing of things and start focusing these messages on the myriad of benefits you can experience when you come and see me (and the puppies) at your next massage, Bowen or Near infrared/Red LED treatment at Press Pause!
