After working with the Speclipse group of AI scientists and engineers from Stanford university and dermatology colleagues from USA, Australian and Korea over the last 4 years and development of the Spectra-scope for real time skin cancer detection using Laser induced Plasma Spectroscopy and artificial intelligence, I’m proud to showcase our published research paper in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. The device has helped many patients with early detection of their skin cancers leading to prevention of advanced disease. Special congratulations to the team that made this happen. Very humbled to be part of the journey.

How things are changing, and so are things at our clinic becoming like a war zone in a race to vaccinate our patients with the long awaited flu vaccine with the limited stock we received. While no vaccine is available for Covid-19, preventing a concurrent infection with influenza is a big step you can take to protect yourself.
Keep safe, everyone and please practice social isolation, wash hands frequently, especially after touching anything public and use a mask in public areas if you have one or if you are sick. Any skin concerns, ring up for a phone or FaceTime consult.
