Always frame your thoughts and words in the positive. They are vibrations and your mind & body are listening- working to make them come true!

For example; the word “Love” resonates at an incredibly high frequency IF the use of the word is backed my an equally high emotion.

You can love your spouse (high) You can love those cookies (low) You can love your new clothes (lower)

Many expressions are fleeting while others last and last.

The point is, that the words and phrases we use to express ourselves, to the biological language we use that affects our bodies, have a compounding, profound effect.

As the Epigenetic environment has impact on your biology, use forethought with with your self-talk as well.

Join us for a Winter Solstice Wellness Workshop in New Farm—
a gentle afternoon of chair or mat yoga, breathwork, guided meditation, journaling, and a symbolic fire ritual. We’ll finish with nourishing treats (yes, the chocolate-dipped oranges are back 🍊🍫) and a deeply relaxing Yoga Nidra session.

He swam the English Channel—solo, for over 18 hours—to raise awareness for men’s mental health. 🌊💙
Last week, I had the privilege of hearing Brendan Cullen share his powerful story at a fundraiser for men’s mental health.

Brendan spoke openly about his battle with depression, and how asking for help was the hardest—but most important—step. Now a Lifeline ambassador, his courage and honesty were incredibly moving.

We also heard from:

🔹 TIACS – Sharon Hardy shared how their free counselling service supports tradies, truckies, farmers, and blue-collar workers. One teen even called in to get help for his dad.
🔹 Men’s Shed – Marty Leist talked about the power of community, connection, and conversation over coffee and shared projects.
🔹 Royal Flying Doctor Service (QLD) – Dr Tim Driscoll spoke about their crucial work supporting health in rural and remote communities.
💬 Coroner Don MacKenzie shared sobering statistics on su***de among Australian men—and reminded us how many are silently struggling.

After social distancing, many of us have missed the power of human touch. But why do we crave hugs so much?

Here are three science-backed reasons to hug more often and for at least 8 seconds. 🤲💕

**1. Reduces Stress**

Hugs can deactivate the brain's "fight or flight" response, releasing oxytocin, the "cuddle hormone." This reduces stress hormones like cortisol. Studies show people who receive hugs after conflicts experience less negative impact on their mood and stress levels. 🌟🧘‍♂️

**2. Boosts the Immune System**

Hugs activate the thymus gland, boosting white blood cell production and strengthening the immune system. Research shows those who feel socially supported and hug more frequently have less severe symptoms when sick. Hugging also benefits heart health by reducing heart rate and blood pressure. 💪❤️

**3. Improves Mental Well-Being**
