As funeral directors, we spent the week with Wooling Hill at the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show and shared in many thoughtful conversations.
It reinforced just how important it is to have even a simple discussion about your wishes.
As the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show comes to a close, we’ve taken a moment to reflect on the past few days.
The conversations have been genuine, honest, and often thought-provoking.
So many people connected with the idea of creating a place where memories live and grow.
And just as many paused. Not because they didn’t understand… but because it made things feel real.
As funeral directors, we see this every day. We sit with families at the very beginning, when decisions need to be made and emotions are raw. And when those conversations haven’t been had, that weight is carried by the people left behind.
A place matters.
At Wooling Hill, through Chapter House, we walk that entire journey with families… from the first call, to a place to return to.
