Although this message is arriving a little later than planned, our gratitude is just as strong. On the 7th of March, we had the pleasure of coming together to celebrate the incredible contribution each of you has made to the NEW1000 study.

Your time, commitment, and willingness to be part of this journey mean more than we can express. Every participant plays a vital role in helping us build knowledge that will support families and improve outcomes for years to come.

Wishing everyone a happy new year!

To start off 2026, our Scientific Director Professor Craig Pennell would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful families who have been involved with the NEW1000 Study.

We are so grateful for your ongoing time and commitment to our study and helping us to collect the vital information we need to understand the importance of first thousand days of life in shaping our health.

We’re moving into an exciting phase of our study, where many of the “babies” involved with NEW1000 are now toddlers! Our clinic has been filled with energy, curiosity, and laughter during their 3-year follow-up appointments.
