Craig is in New Zealand with the Under-17 Australian Water Polo team as they competed in the Under-21 National Championships. His son, Beau was a part of the squad who all played exceptionally well and came away as tournament champions! 🏆💪Craig provided some physio to the players but fortunately they all stayed pretty well and uninjured.

🏀 SEASON WRAP-UP | NBL1 2025 🏀
It has been great working as team physio for the Newcastle Falcons Men’s & Women’s NBL1 teams this season. The women were amazing all season, falling just short of being able to defend their title. The men narrowly missed out on a finals berth and showed they could compete with anyone. They beat both teams that were playing in the grand final on the weekend.

It’s been a privilege supporting such dedicated athletes on and off the court – from injury prevention to rehab and recovery. A huge thank you to the players, coaches, and support staff for a great season.

Enjoy the well-earned rest and recovery – looking forward to what next season brings!

Our team participated in an excellent inservice last night which was presented by Dr Tim Karbowiak. Tim is an ex employee of Regent Street Physio and is now a hand surgeon working alongside Dr Andrew Myers and Dr Bryce Meades at the Hand Surgery Centre. Tim has had exceptional training at some of the best hand surgery clinics in the world including Adelaide, Melbourne and Central London. Tim provided the team with some good practical tips for managing acute finger and wrist injuries to more technical considerations around surgery for ligament injuries and fractures.

That’s a wrap! Brittany has had the honour to work alongside the Junior and Senior Newcastle Representative Netball teams over the year, supporting them both on and off the court. From managing minor strains to major ankle sprains, it’s been a privilege to see everyone grow stronger and more resilient. Now the focus turns to rest, recovery, and targeted movements before gearing up again for the next season!

Our superstar physio Tom will be courtside on Saturday supporting the Newcastle Falcons in their semi final showdown. The NBL1 Women are going head to head with the Bankstown Bruins this Saturday 2nd August at 5pm. Let's go Falcons!

Tom will be travelling to North Sydney on Saturday with the Newcastle Falcons NBL1 Women's team. Tom has looked after the team all season and they are now finals bound after finishing the regular season with a 17-3 record! Good luck girls!

Brittany travelled with the Newcastle Netball Association junior representative teams who competed at the NNSW Hart Junior State Titles over the weekend 5th to 7th July. The 12s, 13s, 14s girls teams, and 14's boys teams competed against other players from all over NSW at Baulkham Hills and Penrith. A great time was had by all!

Craig has returned back to the clinic after a busy week in Bangkok with the Australian Water Polo team for their staging camp. It was a fantastic opportunity for Craig to work with elite athletes using his skills and experience to help them overcome some troublesome injuries and prepare them for the World Championships. Good luck to the Aussie Sharks at the Worlds in Singapore!

A big shout out to Brittany who spent the long weekend supporting athletes from Newcastle Netball Association. The under 15's, 17's and Open teams travelled to Camden to compete in the Netball NSW Hart Senior State Titles. It was a great weekend had by all!

Huge congratulations are in order for Emily Gagliardi who competed in the Newcastle Marathon over the long weekend.
Andrew Delbridge has been working with Emily through physiotherapy to ensure she was ready to go for this marathon. She crushed her goal time of 4 hours 30 minutes and came in with a time of 4:26:54.

Well done Emily! 🏃‍♂️💪🏻🏆🏅
