We are incredibly lucky to be welcoming Dr Jessie Ling back to Derwent Valley Medical Centre. She is a fully qualified Specialist General Practitioner.

Dr Ling is an exceptional doctor with extensive general practice, hospital and emergency department experience. Many of our patients will remember her not only for her clinical skill, but also for her warmth, resilience, and genuine care for people.

Since last working with us at DVMC, Dr Ling has practiced medicine in Antarctica and in remote hospitals in the Kimberley. Her experiences have shaped her into a doctor who remains steady, thoughtful, and deeply grounded even in the most challenging environments.

Beyond medicine, Dr Ling is truly remarkable. She is an ultra-marathon runner, and has recently completed hikes in remote Patagonia in Chile and the Great Himalayan Trail in Nepal.

We feel genuinely fortunate to have someone of her calibre returning to care for our community. Welcome back, Dr Jessie Ling!
