Located in the suburb of New Town (in Tasmania, Australia) is a Meditation Centre that offers regular FREE courses in Brahma Kumaris Raja Yoga meditation, and positive thinking. The Hobart Centre is one of over 50 teaching locations across Australia, where the Brahma Kumaris (a world-wide non-profit organisation) offer people FREE OF CHARGE an opportunity to deepen their understanding of universal spiritual principles and learn a range of spiritual skills through a variety of educational programs. Available also at the Centre you will find a variety of books, meditation and music CDs, cards & posters, products for children, values education materials and vegetarian cookbooks. All products are on offer at very affordable prices to make them widely accessible.

The Brahma Kumaris Hobart Meditation Centre is located in New Town (a suburb of Hobart, Tasmania, Australia). The Centre offers regular FREE courses in Brahma Kumaris Raja Yoga meditation, and Positive Thinking. There are also regular Tuesday presentations, morning and evening, on a variety of topics, and special presentations on occasion, such as Vegetarian Cooking Classes, Silence Days, and presentations also at outside venues in different areas of Tasmania.

The Brahma Kumaris have been a presence at other locations in Hobart since 1980. The current Centre is a beautiful old house set in a lovely garden setting, a BK meditation centre since 2005. It was recently purchased by the Brahma Kumaris to ensure continuity.
