As we start to think about returning to work and stumble out of the Christmas-NewYear fog, go easy on yourself.
Everything does not need to be perfect.
Just focus on what you can make happen and put aside the less important stuff for a more suitable time.
We put way too many difficult goals before us and lose sight of the simple ones.
~Slow down
~Breathe
~Relax
~Care for yourself first
~Simplify

Happiness is within you…..
We all have bad days and speaking from experience, I usually need a bit of time to process, regroup and rise out of a mood that may consume me for a day or more.
But I do recover from hurt, disappointment and sadness.
Remember that others are traveling their own path and their load is not yours to carry.
Their behaviours do not reflect yours.
Their choices cannot be influencing yours.
Own yourself, fertilise your wellbeing and self worth.
Especially, strive to be happy with your lot.
The grass is rarely as green as it appeared! 🍃

Grief isn't just something we experience when someone we know dies.

According to bereavement specialist Terri Daniel, there are several types of losses that don't involve death at all.

"When you haven't experienced an obvious loss such as a divorce or a death, you may not even be aware that you're grieving," Daniel said. "These losses can be secondary to a primary loss, or they can stand on their own."

It pays off to stop and look at past events and trauma to find answers for current mind set and habits hard to change.
It wasn’t your fault, you don’t have to keep watch or wait for that second shoe to drop.
Yes we need to be mindful of our feelings and be respectful to others, but remember kindness to yourself.
Talking about what happened to shape who you are now can help you find your old self. It can bring understanding and compassion for you to begin acceptance and peace. 🙏💗
