🌒✨ Hospital Update ✨🌘

This weekend took an unexpected (and excruciating) turn—on Saturday morning, I dislocated and relocated my knee in one messy moment of chaos. After 12 hours in Emergency, I was admitted and have since had X-rays, a CT scan, and an MRI.

The result? Damaged ligaments, a possible fracture, and one very cranky leg now in plaster from thigh to toe. I’m currently awaiting surgery and focusing on rest, breath, and being gentle with myself—even though everything hurts like hell.

Foxwand is on pause while I heal. If you’ve ordered, messaged, or reached out—thank you for your patience. I see you, and I appreciate you deeply.

This wasn’t the spell I planned to cast this week, but here we are. Rest is sacred. Stillness is magic too. 🌙

🌧️ Not the update I wanted to make, but here we are…

Unfortunately I’ve had a fall and hyperextended my knee—I’m currently at emergency, unable to walk or weight bear, and in a fair bit of pain. So I won’t be able to attend tomorrows (Sunday) market as planned. I’m gutted to miss it and so sorry to anyone who was hoping to see me there!

I’m hitting the road with my witchling assistant Tamsin for a cheeky little adventure—Newcastle Alternative Market is on tour and this weekend we’re headed to Wollongong!

The magic of Mercury Retrograde🪐

Good ol Mercury in Retrograde has us in a spin. It upsets technology, travel, communication and our patience.

BUT it is nothing to fear or panic over. First, let’s take a nice deep breath. Good. Things might go awry but that doesn’t mean you have to. Yes our tech might get glitchy or emails and text misread - dont stress go make a cuppa come back and try again!

Mercury Retrograde is the time to practice all of R words! Particularly patience (which isn’t an R word i know lol). But R words to practice - relax, re-align, rest, re-assess, release, and reflect. It offers us moments to try again. Notice what themes come up for you - for me this time its double checking before hitting send (reviewing - see another R word).

Remember to hydrate because Mercury rules thought and communication and our brains get extra busy. Water and take care of yourself you silly dehydrated plant.

A massive thank you to everyone who came out to the Gothmas edition of Newy Alt Market today! Whether you grabbed a potion, a soap, a spell, or just stopped by for a chat—I’m so grateful for your support. You made the day feel truly magical.

I’ve now officially transformed into a rotting, exhausted goblin and will be spending the week recharging in preparation for next weekend’s Wollongong edition of Newy Alt. One more market adventure before I collapse into a post-tour puddle. ☕🖤
