Whatever you are working towards

17/09/2025

Often it’s not what you do but how you do it.

When coaching early stage lateral movement drills it’s important for the athlete to gain an understanding of the relationship between the foot, knee, hip and trunk. In most circumstances this is to attenuate load away from the knee before building into more complex movement qualities.

If you can’t control your centre of mass to produce force effectively in a controlled environment, it makes the chaos of competition a dangerous place.
