Centre of Research Excellence in Digestive Health Our Centre of Excellence in Transforming Gut Health (Previously CRE- Digestive Health) supports gut research, training and collaboration.

Our Centre is funded by the Australian National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Centres of Research Excellence program, from 2020-2024. It brings together researchers from universities, hospitals and research institutions in Newcastle, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. World leading researchers, clinicians and healthcare providers are joining with stakeholders, patients and carers to improve the understanding, diagnosis and management of chronic digestive diseases.
