Healing from trauma is a journey, not a sprint.

It's important to be patient with yourself as you navigate this path.
Recovery doesn't happen overnight and recognizing small signs of healing can be incredibly empowering.
You might notice that you're more present in the moment, experiencing fewer triggers, or finding joy in activities that once felt impossible.
Each step forward, no matter how small, is a victory and deserves to be celebrated.
Remember, healing is not a linear process; some days will be harder than others, and that's okay.
Be gentle with yourself and honor your progress, knowing that every bit of effort is building towards a stronger, more resilient you.

Last night I went for a walk in the rain I just accepted that it was raining and recognised it as part of life's balance.

This morning I did a bit of mindful reading and came across a quote

"in mindfulness we noticed negative and painful feelings and simply allow them to be there"

Just like the rain we have to accept at times it will just be there ☔
