Here at Seasons Healthcare we want to spread awareness of Parkinson’s, and shine a light on our incredible participants who constantly inspire us.

Parkinson’s is a complex, progressive and degenerative condition of the central nervous system. It affects approx. 200,000 people in Australia.

World Autism Awareness Day

The 2nd April is World Autism Awareness Day. In 2026 the United Nations’ theme for this day focuses on ‘Autism and Humanity - Every Life Has Value’. Here at Seasons Healthcare we value and celebrate all the participants included in this day 🌳

World Down Syndrome Day 💙

This day aims to spread global awareness, and focuses on the rights, inclusion and well-being of people with Down Syndrome. Down Syndrome is a condition that affects approx. 1 in every 800 people worldwide. This year’s theme is ‘Together Against Loneliness’ and focuses on raising awareness of how loneliness disproportionately affects people with Down Syndrome and their families.

International Day of Persons with Disabilities 💙

➡️ The 3rd December is the UN International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
➡️ There are approx. 5.5 million people living with disability in Australia.
➡️ This day aims to promote awareness and understanding of disability-related issues, and rally support for the rights and well-being of people with disabilities.
➡️ In 2025 the theme for this day is ‘fostering disability inclusive societies for advancing social progress’.

World Cerebral Palsy Day 💚

The 6th October is World Cerebral Palsy Day. Today we celebrate the amazing individuals of the CP community!

Cerebral Palsy is a physical disability that impacts movement and posture, as well as vision, hearing and communication. It affects more than 17 million people globally. World Cerebral Palsy Day aims to bring people together from around the world - those living with cerebral palsy, their families, communities and organisations.
