Last week we experienced one of those quiet, beautiful moments that reminds us why we do what we do.
Very slowly, with so much determination, my client made their way across the room toward me. Step by step. No rush. No fuss. Just focus and heart.
When they finally reached me, they gently climbed up and settled onto my lap — and stayed there for the longest time, just soaking up cuddles.
There was no need for words. Just trust. Safety. Connection.
Moments like this aren’t small. They’re everything.
Experiencing someone feel comfortable enough to come in close and just be — is the greatest privilege.
Progress doesn’t always look loud or dramatic. Sometimes it looks like a slow walk across a room and a long cuddle that says more than words ever could.
