This spacious four-bedroom, two-bathroom NDIS SIL home offers a modern, comfortable setting designed to support independence with the right level of care. With a flexible 1:3 male support ratio, supports can be tailored to suit individual needs while still feeling like home.

Located in the heart of Cameron Park, the home is close to local shops, parks and essential services, making it easy to stay connected to the community. It’s a welcoming, secure space for someone ready to settle in and make it their own.

Now with 500 amazing staff members, three states in and supporting over 1,000 participants, we’re only just getting started. Our goal stays the same: to keep showing up with care, expertise, and heart for NDIS-funded individuals wherever they are 🌻

We’re pleased to share that our SIL home in Lochinvar is currently looking for a male participant to make it their own 🏡

This spacious four-bedroom unit sits just outside Maitland and Rutherford, offering a calm retreat while still staying close to local amenities. It’s a great option for someone keen to be involved in their community, with the comfort of a well-set-up home to come back to.

The unit features two bathrooms, a dedicated car spot, and modern living, dining and bathroom spaces. Out the back, there’s a generous yard that’s perfect for relaxing, socialising, or a casual game of backyard cricket.

This home is suitable for a 1:3 male support model.

Meet Kai 👋

One of our Newcastle-based support workers who joined Sunflower in 2025 after making the move from Orange, NSW. A rugby league fanatic (up the Warriors!), secret gardener, and motorbike enthusiast, Kai brings genuine care, calm energy, and a whole lot of heart to the people he supports. We’re very lucky to have him on the team 🌻

Tessa our Accommodation and Respite Coordinator at Sunflower Newcastle grabbed a spot on the couch to chat about respite 🌻

Despite respite always looking like we're jetting off on fun excursions (trust us, we do a lot of that too!) our main priority is always around achieving Participant goals and building new life skills.

So if you'd like to develop finance skills, climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge, go on a trail walk, practice travel training or learn independence in the kitchen, please reach out! 👋
