River's home is inside a lovingly restored 1870s rectory. The timber, the soaring ceilings, the fireplaces - they’re stunning, but they’re not the point. What matters is the feeling.

We’ve shaped a space that’s warm, calm and purposefully created to help every client breathe a little easier the moment they arrive. Environment matters, and we want each person who steps inside to feel supported, never rushed.

We’re heading to Maitland Park for the Hume End of Year Celebration.

Food. Santa. Games. Music. Lucky door prizes. All the ingredients of a community event that leaves you feeling lighter than when you arrived.

It’s free, it’s for everyone, and yes, River will be there. Come say hi, grab something delicious, and enjoy the moment with us.

River is proud to be part of the International Day of People with Disability celebration on Wednesday.

There will be games, stalls, entertainment, prizes, and a whole lot of community. We’ll be there on the day and can’t wait to meet you in person.

Speech pathology covers a lot more than speech sounds- from literacy and social skills with kids to feeding and swallowing support in aged care. Lucy loves the variety and says the scope of the role is bigger than she ever expected.

With her clients, Lucy uses the Zones of Regulation to help kids identify emotions, understand their “big feelings,” and build strategies to manage them - all through games, activities, and play.

Meet Lucy, one of our Allied Health Assistants. She supports clients with speech, language, and social skills, and also works in behaviour support to help kids with emotional regulation and strategies to manage big feelings.

Zarlie joined River because she wanted to make a real difference - working one-on-one with clients who need extra support, in a workplace that’s flexible, friendly, and full of lovely people. 💛
