We are a passionate multidisciplinary team motivated to create communities of care. The Base Community is a not for profit organisation which purpose is to grow mental health awareness, re-connect people and build networks to work towards a social climate change. We believe people are inherently interconnected and that we can thrive if we are all well. We believe mental wellbeing is interconnected with physical and relational wellbeing and ultimately community and environmental wellbeing. The Base is a safe place for clients, the community and team to connect, grow from and return to when needed.

When life gets overwhelming, we often put our needs last. But self-care is a radical act of self-preservation—especially when healing.⁠

Here are 3 simple ways to check in with yourself today:⁠
✨ Pause & Breathe: Even 3 deep breaths can reset your nervous system.⁠
✨ Ask Yourself: What do I need right now? (Rest? Connection? Movement?)⁠
✨ Set a Boundary: It’s okay to say no to protect your peace.⁠
