Hi there, my name is Penny!
I am a dedicated disability support worker who is passionate about caring for others and helping people live fulfilling, independent lives. My lived experience gives me genuine empathy, understanding, and patience, and I value building trusting relationships where people feel safe, respected, and heard.

What inspires me, is seeing people find strength on those hard days- yet continue moving toward their goals, even when the obstacles feel big. I’m constantly reminded that courage doesn’t mean life is easy, it means showing up anyway.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my teenage children, being creative, listening to music, and catching up with friends — all of which keep me grounded and inspired in the work I do every day.

If you or your loved ones need support, or would like more information, please send us an email: admin@altitudesupportservices.com

Happy Birthday to our very valued and respected colleague, Chloe. We are forever impressed with your dedication to advancing the interests of people living with disabilities, to companionship and showing kindness in all the work you do at Altitude. We are so grateful to have you working with us.

Meet Chloe!
Chloe is 25 and based in the Maitland area. She brings 3 years of experience in the disability support industry and 1 year in aged care, holding certificates in both Aged and Disability Support.
Chloe is patient, kind, and respectful, and she genuinely enjoys getting to know her clients and their unique personalities. It brings her great joy to see those she supports happy and thriving. She is passionate about creating positive environments, building trust, and promoting independence, always recognising that each person is unique and not defined by their disability.
Outside of work, Chloe is a devoted animal lover with two cats and a dog — all very spoilt! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her fur-babies, playing video games, catching up over coffee or a good meal, traveling, spending time with family, and getting creative through crochet and sewing.

We at altitude believe that you never truly know what someone else is going through. Behind every smile, conversation, or quiet moment may be challenges, worries, or battles that aren’t visible to the outside world.
That’s why kindness matters. Patience matters. A simple check-in, a listening ear, or a small act of understanding can mean more than you realise to someone who’s struggling silently.
Let’s choose compassion, give grace where we can, and appreciate the people around us — because sometimes, just being kind can make all the difference.
This is why we at altitude strive to take compassion and understanding through all aspects of care!

We all have days where things feel heavier than usual — and that’s completely okay!
Reaching out for support doesn’t make you weak; it shows strength, courage, and self-awareness.
Whether you’re struggling with daily tasks, emotions, routines, or just need someone to walk beside you for a moment, asking for help is a brave step forward.
At Altitude Support Services, we’re here to remind you that you don’t have to do everything alone. Support is meant to be shared, and everyone deserves a hand when life gets a little overwhelming.
✨ You are never a burden
✨ Your feelings are valid
✨ Help is always within reach
Let’s break the stigma together — it’s more than okay to ask for help!

Darcy, an 18-year-old with autism and an intellectual disability, accessed employment support through NDIS. With help to identify his interests, build his résumé, complete a business-unit qualification and prepare for interviews, he secured a job as a school crossing supervisor. Darcy now earns his own income, has grown in independence, and continues his other passions. https://buff.ly/ysPHLgV
