MINDFULNESS MONDAY ✨

Visualisation helps you focus your attention, reduce stress, and mentally rehearse calm or positive scenarios. It draws your awareness into the present and encourages emotional regulation.

Positive affirmations encourage self-awareness and promote healthier thought patterns. They shift your internal dialogue toward self-compassion, confidence, and resilience.

Both practices ground you in the moment and strengthen your ability to respond—rather than react—to thoughts and emotions.

WORD OF THE WEEK - Sensory đź’š

Sensory refers to the body's ability to receive, process, and respond to information from the environment and the body through the senses. These include the traditional five senses—sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell—as well as additional senses like:

- Vestibular (balance and movement)
- Proprioception (body awareness)
- Interoception (internal body sensations, like hunger or heart rate)

Proper sensory processing allows individuals to interact effectively with their surroundings. Challenges with sensory processing can affect behaviour, emotional regulation, motor skills, and participation in daily activities.
