I'm back! 🙌
2 years ago I decided to take a break from this business as it was severely affecting my mental health. I didn't make any posts about this because, at the time, I just couldn't deal and needed to just stop thinking about this altogether.
I started this business because I really enjoyed baking and creating beautiful cakes and cookies. But after a while, with other things going on in my life as well, it started to become a chore. Slowly, all the fun was drained out of it and instead it started to give me panic attacks thinking of all the work I had to do each week.
After such a long break, I'm now able to find the joy in it again, so I will be making a small comeback. For now, I will only be taking on a select few orders at a time, keeping the workload light on my end so that I can keep the enjoyment. I will also only be making cakes and will not be making any cookies at this time, I'm sorry.
To keep things enjoyable for me so that I can keep doing this for you, I will be restricting the types of cakes that I will be making. I will only take on orders that allow me some level of creative control and would prefer to make cakes that are simple/abstract/with florals. The following pictures are some of my previous works that are of the style of cakes that I am happy to continue making for you.
I apologise if these styles are not in line with your vision, but for the time being I will not be taking on any orders that do not fit this theme.
