Psychologists Thomas Gilovich and Victoria Medvec conducted research on human decision making and they highlighted how people perceive regrets.

We can fix or apologise for an action, but inaction regrets linger longer because they are not easily corrected and leave us wondering 'what if'.

Today is the International Day for Women in Maritime.
It's a day to celebrate the contribution women make to the maritime industry and recognise that more can be done to remove barriers that prevent women from entering the sector.
With less than 2% of the global seafaring workforce being female, there are real opportunities for increased participation and greater equality in the sector.
But increased participation in the maritime industry starts with creating safe, welcoming and inclusive workplaces.
Hunterlink is here to support all international seafarers in Australian seas and ports plus members of the MUA and many other maritime industry organisations.
Contact us on 1800 554 654 or via WhatsApp on +61 439 382 204.
