Yoga-dendrum Yoga in Mayfield, taught as a standard class (on the mat) or as a chair class (no floor work).

Yoga-dendrum takes its name from the epidendrum (crucifix) orchid. Give these plants just a little bit of regular attention and watch the beauty of these plants unfold - which is much the same as our yoga practice. Yoga classes held weekly in the style of Satyananda Yoga - will suit beginners and experienced yogis.

Yoga classes resume tomorrow (Monday 6 January 2025). Same times, same venue, and as required the classes will be adjusted to account for the expected heat - think slow, stretchy and restorative 🧘🧘‍♂️. My classes suit all levels of ability, including if you're completely new to yoga.
There are spaces available in all classes if you would like to come along as a new starter, or rejoin me if it’s been awhile.

So it's the October long weekend already! This Monday yoga is on for both classes as usual.
Maybe a bit of yoga will give the extra boost you need to survive the change to daylight saving - or maybe it's just a nice way to wrap up your weekend.
However you spend the weekend I hope it is wonderful.

The Star hall is closed for repair this coming week from Monday 15th till Wednesday 17th April. Zoom classes are available for both Monday classes, but Tuesday morning is cancelled for this week. Refer to this page mid next week for updates about the remainder of the week.

It's hard to believe we are already close to Easter this year! So with Easter approaching there will be some class cancellations coming up.
No classes on Good Friday or Easter Monday. Yoga is on this coming Thursday, but there will no class on Thursday (4/4) after Easter - and all other classes are on as usual.

I am cancelling Thursday yoga this week as it is forecast to be far too hot to do our class.
I plan to hold all classes as usual next week (barring another extreme heat event). Will be taking two weeks off to recharge and then back on as usual from Monday 8 January. 🙏🙏🙏
