Stevie has been part of the Loftie family since 2012, first stepping onto the mat as a student, then completing his teacher training and sharing his teachings with our community ever since.

We love Stevie’s unwavering commitment to alignment. His cues are clear, precise and supportive for everyone, whether you are brand new to yoga or deepening an advanced practice. And if you have ever been lucky enough to receive one of his assists, especially in Savasana, you know just how magical and grounding his presence can be.

Today we celebrate three beautiful things:

🎂 And the birthday of our founder, Cveta

Cveta is the heart of the Loft. A mother, teacher, space holder and visionary, she pours so much love into this community and into her daughter Florence.

Through every season, Cveta holds this space with grace, grounding and a quiet kind of magic. She’s the reason the Loft feels the way it does - warm, soulful and full of possibility.

On this day of stillness and light, we honour her presence and everything she gives so generously. Her wisdom. Her warmth. The reminder that true strength is soft, steady and deeply rooted.

This Saturday, 21st June, we’re offering all classes for free in honour of International Yoga Day.

Yoga has always been a practice of returning. Returning to the breath, to the body, to what’s real.
It reminds us that simplicity is sacred and presence is enough.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful mothers, mother role figures, earth mothers and spiritual healers that heal us like the mother. To our step mothers, foster and adoptive mothers, to our IVF mothers and incredible donors (and their mothers that raised such amazing human beings) that help to usher our beautiful souls, to the expecting mothers, those who have suffered much heartache who have angel babies on the other side. To our grandmothers, great aunts, aunties, sisters and cousins. To those mothers still on the journey to motherhood, yet to start their journey to motherhood and to all the single mothers by choice. To the mothers that have gone through the heart break of family separation. And finally to those of us that for whatever reason aren’t able to be with their mother today.

A mother’s love is like no other.

We thank YOU. We LOVE YOU. And we SEE YOU today and everyday 💖

Start your yoga journey with us!

Our 8-week Beginners Course is designed for absolute beginners and curious returners. Led in a supportive flow style, you’ll learn the foundations of breath, alignment and movement in a way that feels accessible and encouraging.

Each class gently builds on the last, so while attending the full course is recommended, you’re more than welcome to book casually if the full 8 weeks doesn’t suit your schedule. You won’t fall behind.

We’re so excited to have 💝 back at the Loft. If you haven’t met Kara, she is a beautiful, inspiring and simply divine mother goddess. Kara is known for her signature, delicious yin delivery and will be teaching once a month on Sunday afternoons 5-6pm, alongside the infamous, gorgeous 💫who will be teaching on other Sundays.

Kara will be exploring the five elements of yin yoga connecting us to the natural world, the physical body and our energy channels. Drop into a state of deep relaxation and awareness with long held poses, breathwork and meditation … a release for the body and mind.

Riley is also the owner of Enhance where he facilitates events to enhance mental health and resiliency. He teaches at a number of different spaces and embodies discipline, study of self but overall practicing vulnerability and compassion as a path towards growth.
