Name: Kathryn Mayanja
Role: Pharmacy Awareness Chair
Hi all, I’m Kathryn, the NAPSA Pharmacy Awareness Chair for the 2020/2021 term.
Throughout my term, I have worked closely with former Executive Director Antoni Ukalovic in growing pharmacy awareness and implementing new and exciting initiatives.
The pharmacy awareness role entails organising our two major events. Charity Cup and Vampire Cup! It also involves liaising with all 17 of our affiliated branches, Lifeblood service and Pharmacist Support Service. Your other primary role will be to work with branch pharmacy awareness chairs to provide assistance and resources for these events and inspire them in promoting health campaigns and other various pharmacy awareness events.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my term and I would encourage anyone with a passion for pharmacy and making a difference in our community to apply. If you have any questions or would like more information on the role, please do not hesitate to email me at pharmacy.awareness@napsa.org.au
